Dr. Youssef Ibrahim

Youssef is a hardware engineering leader specialising in the development of advanced medical devices, with a background in mechanical engineering and a PhD from Imperial College London focused on additive manufacturing for aerospace and medical applications.

He has led the development of complex systems spanning sensing, embedded electronics, and electro-mechanical integration, with a focus on turning early-stage concepts into robust, compliant products. Alongside his technical work, he has built and guided multidisciplinary engineering teams, shaping system architecture and development strategy within regulated environments. He joined Zedsen in 2025 to head up the Hardware Engineering team and is responsible for driving the company's hardware development and productisation as it progresses towards clinical deployment.
