Alison Strutt

Alison joined Zedsen in February 2026, bringing extensive leadership experience across finance, operations, fundraising and strategic transformation within the life sciences sector.

Alison previously served as Chief Operating Officer at NodThera, where she led finance and operational functions across UK and US sites and raised c. $250 million across multiple financing rounds, enabling the company from its pre-clinical stage through to the clinical phase. She was also CFO at Kynos Therapeutics through to a successful exit to a pharmaceutical company in 2024. Earlier in her career, Alison spent 14 years at GSK, where she held senior finance leadership roles including CFO for Medicines Discovery & Development, CFO for Drug Discovery, and Chief of Staff to GSK plc's CFO. Alison has also been M&A Director at Deloitte, advising senior management teams on trade sales, venture financings and debt raises. She has held board advisory, non-executive and trustee positions with The Academy of Medical Sciences and The Tres Cantos Open Laboratory Foundation. Alison is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountancy, England and Wales and holds a PhD in Physical Chemistry from the University of Cardiff.
